Firm Partner Larry Donahue will hosting a free webinar to help businesses better understand the Corporate Transparency Act and the filing of Beneficial Ownership Information Reports (BOIR) for the majority of all Small Businesses in the United States.
Here is the most important take away you need to know about.
Failure to properly report beneficial ownership information (BIOR) by January 1, 2025 can result in fines ($500/day) or even jail time for US Small Business Owners.
If this is news to you, you need to sign up for this webinar!
Starting on January 1st, 2024, all new companies formed in the U.S. were required to report their Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) within 90 days of formation to Fin Cen., (Unless a company meets one or more narrow exemptions to the requirements to report.)
By January 1st, 2025, all pre-existing companies formed prior to 1/1/2024, are required to report their BOI.
This step-by-step webinar will inform business owners if their businesses need to report as well as which individuals in their company need to file a report.
